API Carbon steel flange ball valve is a type of industrial valve, widely used for controlling the flow of fluids or gases in pipelines.
When the handle or actuator is turned 90 degrees, the ball rotates. In the open position, the hole in the ball aligns with the valve body’s ports, allowing fluid to flow. In the closed position, the solid part of the ball blocks the flow path, and the valve seat seals against the ball to prevent leakage.
▪The ball valve body use carbon steel, design standard comply with API 6d API 600.
▪Compared with ductile iron valves, carbon steel valves can adapt to a wider temperature range, ranging from–29 to 425°C.
▪Carbon steel ball valve is suitable for saturated steam and superheated steam, high and low temperature oil, liquefied gas, compressed air, water, natural gas, etc.
▪Good corrosion resistance: Carbon steel ball valves can work stably in a variety of chemical media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, and are not prone to corrosion and oxidation reactions.
▪API carbon steel ball valves are designed for reliability and high-performance, and are an excellent choice for shut-off applications in the power, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
