API Carbon steel flange globe Valve is a stop valve that uses a round valve disc or valve plug to control fluid flow by moving perpendicular to the flow channel. The valve is named for its spherical valve body and is equipped with flange ends for easy connection to the pipeline.
The carbon steel flange globe valve operates by moving the disc up or down along the stem. When the disc is lowered into the flow path, it restricts or stops the fluid flow. When raised, it allows fluid to pass through. The valve’s design allows for precise control of flow rates and pressures, making it suitable for throttling applications.
